  Wunderbare Umgebung (Seeblick, Waldwanderweg, Golfplatz vor der Tür). Gutes Abendessen, sehr gutes Frühstück. Für uns günstig gelegen, da nur gut eine Stunde vom Dublin airport entfernt.

  Keine ungetrübte Nachtruhe durch Geräusch aus der Küche (Geschirrspüler?)

  I loved our room and the huge bathroom. We had great walk in the grounds and woods. The food at breakfast was delicious .I would like to return.

  Absolutely brilliant. The place was gorgeous and the staff were all lovely and pleasant. I booked a double room and got upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite which was amazing. I'll definitely be back.

  the staff were very friendly couldn't do enough for us.

  We were stying for a wedding. The weedding food and service was excellent.. Manager and staff verry friendlyPrice was good,.

  We were stying for a wedding , booked the room on the. Internet and room was no 220 , freezing cold on arrival and curtains were hanging off the wall in bathroom. Corridar to room smells old and stuffy. The weedding food and service was excellent. Breakfast was poor.. Manager and staff verry friendly. On leaving we were asked if everything was ok and mentioned the room was freezing cold on arrival, not even a word of sorry about that from receptionist

  My husband and I stayed at the Park Hotel on the first night of our hooney-moon that was 42 years ago we only stayed for two nights as money was very tight,and this time we only stayed for one night b&b with gorgeous dinner,we wished we could have stayed just another night but like 42 years ago money is tight,some things never change, Thank,s to every-one at The Park Hotel for yet another lovely stay, Regards Eva & Joe Murray

  the hotel was in a lovely location, staff were very friendly and helpfull. the hotel is cosy and welcoming! we were lucky to be up there for the october bank holiday weekend and the town was running its annual "pumpkin festival" which i would recommend to everyone, it was absolutly brillant and the atmosphere in the town was brilliant all weekend!! the hotel is in the town so you can walk to everthing in just a few minutes! so a great weeknd had! and i would def recommend the pancakes with maple syrup at breakfast they are delicious!! we will def be back again!

  The staff were excellent. The food was excellent. The dining room was brilliant - like a stately home. The location by the lake and golf course was excellent. A most enjoyable stay.

  Just a nit-pick - but there could have been a fire in the lounge.

  Location was perfect... Staff were exceptional, room was well worth the trip on it's own.... You wouldn;t need to leave the grounds, the walks round there would keep you busy. BTW, I'll drop the key card back in the next week or so,,, Oooops!

  T.V signal was not all it should have been........ Had to wait till Fri. Night to enjoy the evening meal, which was well worth the wait, just, would've been nice to enjoy the same Thurs Night also??

  Peaceful pleasant surroundings. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with good choice of options. Parkland setting within a 10 minute walk to pleasant small town.

  The receptionist, although polite and efficient, should smile a little. Shower in room 214 was erratic temperature-wise.

  The hotel has a beautiful rural location close to forest and lakes and is within easy walking distance of the busy small town of Virginia. The hotel itself and the various outbuildings have a historic charm. When we were there the food in the restaurant was excellent. Also the small 9 hole golf course adjacent to the hotel is a great bonus for those who want a quit round of parkland golf.

  My only small complaint is that the fees charged for playing a round of golf should entitle the visitor to 18 holes play and not just the existing 9 holes.

  The staff were extreemly friendlyand helpful. The lady in charge of the dining room, Patricia !, was a whirlwind of efficiency combined with sensitivity and friendlyness. The same could be said for the receptionest and the young man in the bar. The hotel was the best value for money we have come accross in a long time. Shower in the bedroom was efficient and a dream. We had our evening meal in the hotel on our first evening and returned again on our next two nights. Food was great but a change in the menue would have been nice. Great hotel we would reccomend it to anyone.

  39Th wedding aniversary, same hotel 39 years ago I am French Like the view of the lake, but some stupid people planted trees which now restricts this wonderful view!! The surroundings are beautifull, even when raining

  The dinner was very bad. The fish (sea bass) served to my wife was a very small portion , very dry, and the vegetables were not properly cooked. A complete flop for 24 Euros.! My fish and chips was fine. The selection of small bottles of wine was poor : no French bottles...

  The staff were friendly, its a place to relax and unwind. As set in own grounds away from traffic etc,,,very peaceful.

  The few front of house Irish staff employed were excellent and very helpful and charming.

  I feel the hotel can best be described as tired. It needs a face lift, especially the back area of the hotel where our bedroom was situated. I found it strange that at breakfast time a dinner size knife and fork were provided but no bread and butter knife. The restaurant evening menu didn't vary for the three evenings we were there and so we chose to dine in on the first evening only.
