  Location excellent

  Poor parking (full on arrival). Rooms had dust on a lot of surfaces - needs a good clean - not peripheral

  I like the location, lovley scenery, I attended a wedding, food was lovley there and the layout of function was perfect too , very modern and unusual. They have nice icecream parlour, and lobby was nicely decorated also.

  We stayed on second floor, room situated at back of hotel, just before 8am, was awake all morning from noise of bottle sorting/breaking and lorry deliveries, also for the price of room, for one night, I would expect a bit more luxury, the bathroom/bath was tiny, No modern flat tv, rooms a little outdated, If there was a better standard of window, noice would not be an issue. I mention this while checking out, the staff member said that the noise at front would be worse because of traffic. Also the draft beer been served was undrinkable, I mentioned this also to the staff.

  Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Lovely food and plenty of it. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Couldn't be more helpful.

  Nice facilities in the center of town with a great breakfast and good sized rooms.

  There was some confusion regarding the booking and the staff was not clear that the price would change substantially from the initially agreed amount. They said it was mentioned at the time of check in but the form signed stated the original amount. Didn't find out about the change in price until check out and they were very reluctant to make an adjustment to the original price. They finally agreed to compromise on the price.

  The staff were extremely friendly but the food was the best part of the visit, it was fantastic and I would go back to the hotel for the food alone.

  Price of €110 for one night B & B is a bit pricey, we stayed in Lough Rinn also and it was only €99 for B & B for midweek also.

  Attended friends wedding there, had great time. Found hotel staff very helpful and wedding seemed very organised and professional!!

  bedroom was very warm...air conditioning would be great as when window opened the sound of traffic was very loud

  My room was more like a small flat and had lovely views over the Shannon. Staff were wonderful throughout.

  The Food was excellent

  The was a faulty single bed in the room and we had constant problems accessing the door with the key card. One problem was when the cover fell off from the holder for the card to allow the electric to come on in your room, once reported this was mended straight away.

  This is one hotel I would find it difficult to criticise. From the first contact with reception everything was "no problem" Would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.

  Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean with a lovely outlook over the river. Restaurant provided an excellent bar and menu and the food we had was very good. Breakfast was also very good with quality food provided.

  The welcome and friendly staff, the breakfast served to your table. Good quality food in the restuarant. Room was a good size. Proximity to town centre. Complimentry news paper and bottled water in room appreciated.

  Restuarant service (Boardwalk) was extremely slow although the food was of excellent quality. Down to not enough staff as all staff were clearly working hard.

  I thought the hotel was overpriced and they seemed to cater for Stag parties mostly, Also they made a big mistake refurbishing the bar area, It is now just a disco bar

  We travelled a very long journey to stay at this hotel for a family event . On the morning of our departure we checked out at 1:30pm. I apologised instantly for the delay on checkout as having got no sleep the previous night due to the location of our room which was just above the main street/ road below us , . The hotel then charged us an extra 30 euros for this late checkout. I was very annoyed and as we have been prepared for the original price of the room which was 110 euros, we then had to find to find an extra 30 euro on departure which instantly ruined our stay at this hotel. i would not reccomend this hotel nor would i stay at it again.
