  We booked this hotel as part of a three day getaway trip and stayed for one night en route to Galway- it was located in an perfect locations drive from the north of Ireland (within two and a half hours)... The hotel staff were very nice to us on arrival and our room clean, warm and spacious, we also discovered a beautiful view of lough Allen the following morning from our balcony room-the price was very reasonable and I would recommend this hotel to any visitor.

  There was a very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The leisure facilities - pool, saunda, stam room were excellent. Restaurant and bar food were all excellent.

  Its difficult to decide what we liked best! The reception staff (well all the staff really) were friendly and efficient; our room was spacious and spotless with a beautiful view over Lough Allen. We had a meal with 6 of our relatives in the bar and this was very good. The breakfasts were excellent - I had the Full Irish before we left and it was just delicious! All in all it was one of the best hotels we have stayed in - and we've stayed in a few around the world!!

  Breakfast staff very rushed and seemed unhappy to have to deal with any request for a table move. One delightful young lady on reception on our arrival gave the impression of a lovely welcoming hotel subsequent exposure to other staff not the same.

  Very easy going and relaxed, but efficient, organised and courteous. Beds were gi-normous, you could get lost in them, but very comfortable.

  I didn't like the fact that the hotel had not implemented the new reduced vat rate that came into effect on July 1st. Room price remained the same. It would only be a few euro saving for us so nothing major but it was the principle.

  We loved our stay at the Ramada, it was very peaceful, just what we were looking 4, the staff were very friendly and helpful and we would stay again.

  I think there could be more activities available, more things to do because if we were 2 go again I would take the children but there would have to be loads of things to do

  The staff were friendly. Located beside horse-riding stables. In a quiet village, but staff were happy to help with transport options for going out tO Carrick on Shannon.

  There is a lovely leisure centre and spa, the staff are lovely, had a room with lake view and weayther was brillant we were lucky, marvellous value for money and best of all had air conditioning as temp was 25C. would go back again for longer stay.

  Really nice hotel and very clean.Staff very good, were late for breakfast due to late night, but were still accommodated. Couldn't make full use of facilities but will definitely go again. Country side beautiful.

  The setting of the Hotel is so beautiful and the facilities are fantastic. The view to the lake and the surrounds were so peaceful. The Spa, fitness centre and pool were very clean and of a high quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel.

  The staff in the bar, restraunt and fitness/pool/spa, were so helpful and accommodating, the staff at the desk could have been a little friendlier, they were very professional but maybe a little more relaxed with the clients.

  We booked a family room, we found it very cold with heat on. We would have liked a full family room eg a double bed and two singles as other hotels have.
