  Location

  I was very disapointed as we were in room 14 which is the first room at front. There were people who forgot their keys and were banging really loud to get in, this went on for about 1 hour. Our french doors were located at the back of the lodge and people were banging and trying to open it to get in... We had no sleep and were not happy at all as we had a flight to catch the next morning, we hardly had any rest.. The kettle had no plug point near it, I had to move it to my bed side cabinet everytime I wanted to boil some water.. Overall one of the worst experience I have had.. Would like a refund.

  the room was nice and there was free parking.

  The address of the hotel was Carrick on Shannon. It is 5 Km from Carrick on Shannon.It is not a hotel. It is a pub that rents rooms. It is located in Leitrim which is a one horse town. We were very dissappointd with the location.

  The room was nice it was warm and clean with all the facilities ie tv hairdryer tea coffee ensuite towels soap etc the check in and check out time were very flexible I had food on the evening of my arrival this was delicious very busy food trade the staff were very helpful and pleasent

  Its part of a nice local pub with very friendly bar staff. The open fire was lovely sitting down with a pint of the black stuff and newspaper. It could have been a late nite laughing with the locals but for it being a "school" nite. It your standard country local with "flexible" closing hours. It would be a great spot if you are doing a toor of the country. The room was just fine, it is no way up Market but it was clean, warm and comfy. For the price it could not be beaten.

  For the price I could not really complain... Maybe if the staff had the WiFi codes to log on!!

  The Leitrim Lodge Hotel is a brief resting spot for those that absolutely have no alternative place to stay.Staying in your car would be a reasonable comparison.Damp ,Cold (heating was unable to be turned on from the room) Fungus growing wildly on the bathroom wall,rotting window frames ,views of a mess that could easily have been tidied up but lastly the humdinger was the hair on the bed sheet from the previous guest .Best advice would be drop the lodge hotel and add hostel .

  Undoubtedly, the friendliness of those running the hotel - Eunan, who was very welcoming and Maureen, who took the trouble to ring me afterwards to ensure that all was to my satisfaction: two great ambassadors for any enterprise

  As adverted to above above, the friendliness was the outstanding feature. I also liked the simplicity, yet fully adequate nature of the accommodation on offer and the fact that it is in the heart of some of the country's most beautiful scenery.

  We found staying at the Leitrim Arms a very pleasant experience. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is an ideal location for experiencing the delights of roscommon, sligo and leitrim. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable lodgings.

  Very friendly staff, good ample parking, good food, outdoor enclosed play area suitable for ages 3 to 10years couple of different restaurants across the street, close to carrick on shannon

  No breakfast at this hotel which suited us fine it meant no restrictions as to when we got up and there was a great cafe just across the street where you can get your full irish brekkie if u wish
