  Handy for Monaghan Town and the pubs/nightlife there. Nice bar meal although a bit expensive. Good choice of beers, wines & spirits.

  Bar lacked atmosphere until a group of us got a good old sing song started. Rooms a bit tired and need refurbishment. Ancient TV'S.

  The bathroom had a jacuzzi with a shower head that you had to hand hold. It would have been better if the shower head could have been attached to the wall at the height of a normal shower head. There was no shower curtain. So, it was difficult to take a shower as we did not want to soak in the tub.

  We stayed as part of a wedding group and found the service excellent.We had a wonderful time and would reccommend this hotel as a brilliant wedding venue.

  very noisy throughout the night with people constantly trying to open your door and shouting in the corridors. very over priced for what you get. some budget hotels are better.

  Ease of check in/out. Convenience as we were there for a wedding.

  At the wedding we were served our main course when the top table and others were already served. Before I even had the first serving of vegetables I was offered second helping of turkey! We were all very cold as we were placed between 2 sets of open double doors.

  The room was spacious yet cosy and very comfortable. I availed of the swimming pool leisure facilities which were clean. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast had an excellent selection of fruit and continental pics with fresh strawberries and melon. I opted for the cooked breakfast too which was lovely. Overall a friendly and clean hotel.

  Location was ok, about 15mins walk into the town. Plenty of free parking at the hotel.

  The room decor was very, very outdated. Large stains on the bedroom walls and old furniture gave the room a very lived in feel. Room was fairly clean but very noisy at night with thin walls and doors. Bar area was again ok but needed a revamp and felt a little dirty especially around the area of the bar itself. To justify the price of the hotel stay it really needs extensive refurbishment. Overall a fairly disappointing experience.

  The staff were very helpful and pleasant

  The location of the hotel is not great. The decor is very outdated. We had to be moved from our first room due to incessant noise, and the second room smelled of smoke and the shower did not work. This does not equal value for money - this hotel is very overpriced.

  Breakfast was very good with a varied menu. Power shower was wonderful.

  Would possibly have had time for a quick spa treatment in the morning before I left but there didn't seem to be readily available information on whether this would have been available. Most of the literature referred to prior booking which gave me the impression that it would have to be booked days in advance.

  The leisure club was the most enjoyable part of our stay - oh and the lobby is lovely

  Sorry to say but the hotel looks nicer from the inside - the room we were provided with, while clean, was shabby - e.g. tiles cracked in the bathroom, seals around taps old. The view of the roof was only made bearable by the fact that it had snow on it. The bar lacked atmosphere

  Very friendly and helpful staff and a real credit to the hotel. The food was also very good indeed and one of the very few times I've ever had a rare steak cooked properly. It's also a great location and within walking distance of the town.

  The lift didn't work when I was there and I was very confused by the signage, particularly for where stairwells are situated and directions generally and felt this would be a majotr problem in an emergency where the hotel had to be evacuated.

  he estado varias veces y esta bastante bien, buena comida y habitaciones amplias

  se le nota un poco viejo y el cuarto de baño se noto mucho que se limpio con prisas sobre todo el retrete que tenia rastros de antiguos huespedes incluyendo pelos de una zona muy especifica del cuerpo y otras cosas...
