  Excellence of hotel due in the main to staff professionalism and efficiency in reception, dining, bar & spa areas at every turn. Celine was remarkably kind and discreet. The outdoor hot tub was magic looking down on the panorama of Lough Arrow despite a shower of hailstones! Good Staff training was evident with their helpful approach, communication and friendly ethos. Food exciting and delicious not to mention the freshly squeezed oranges & such a variety of breakfast breads...caraway seed brought me back to a special treat on nostalgic Christmas Eves of long ago. Thank you! The tranquil location on Lough Arrow is an idyllic setting so full of beauty and a rich haven for relaxation.

  Excellent personal service, the most beautiful, tranquil surroundings, cofortable, luxurious... If you want peace and quiet, quality and be taken care of, this is the place for you. We flew to Dublin, took the train for 2,5 hours (1,5 hour by car), and suddenly found ourselves far away from daily routines and stress.

  I had to leave...

  Once arrived we were upgraded to a superior room, we had a balcony and a beautiful view on the lake. The service was one of the best, in reception, restaurant, spa, and the owner of the hotel was welcoming personally each guest at the restaurant. The spa was nice, though quite small, but I loved the jacuzzi outside and chatting there with the other hotel guests. Overall the best hotel where I've been in Ireland for the area (quiet and beautiful), service, building.

  Well, honestly, knowing how it is done, I didn't like to see the foie gras in the menu of the restaurant. And if to be picky, it would be great to have internet in the hotel rooms besides the common area, but the place was so nice that I didn't really suffer for this...

  The staff were fantastic, food great

  We were away from the main hotel building in a sort of purpose-built bedroom extensions area , we got to it via a lift and then across a sort of hall way bridge 2 floors up this walkway was freezing cold no heating not very pleasant. There was no way of controlling the heating in the bedroom and had to ask at reception for the room temperature to be turned up which really didn't work.when we went to our room after dinner it was so cold we had to get under the covers to keep warm we had to turn the bathroom heater on and leave the door open to try warm the room. The second night there we had people in the room beside ours and had to listen to snoring all night. There should be better sound proofing in the rooms. Lastly not enough common areas to relax and unwind in the hotel.

  Beautiful location, views over Lough Arrow, fresh air , peace and quiet. Wonderful hotel and staff

  Lack of a 'bar food' option other than snacks/sandwiches; sometimes you don't want the full four star restaurant/four course meal experience. So much climbing up and down steps to get to our room. Hotel seemed short staffed, probably because of state of the economy

  It was a little taste of luxury!

  Bedroom was too warm but we didn't say this to any staff member so hotel cannot to be held blame really.

  The hotel is located in majestic surroundings, the hotel itself is beautiful, bedrooms very spacious, attention to detail was second to none!!! We wiil be back

  Disappointed to see Foie Gras on the menu, this for us was the only negative

  The country location was great very relaxing break at the start of our sight seeing holiday in Ireland.

  I found the menu in the resturant to fussy and had difficantly in finding anything I wanted to eat as I hate mushrooms. Service in the bar was very slow and at times we could not find anyone to serve us. No where else in walking distance and everything had to be based in the hotel. The resturant was very busy on the Saturday night with non guests eating in the resturant which did not have any typicol Irish food. Even when we just wanted a snack we had to eat in the resturant no food service was allowed in the bar area.

  Fantastic welcome from the staff & really excellent meal -both the fresh, tasty breakfast & buffet in the morning and a really memorable evening meal in the restaurant.

  Tendancy to charge extra for basic use of facilities like the hottub which should be free, especially as there is no gym ( significant drawback ) or swimming pool.

  We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be excellent in terms of service, comfort and relaxation. We enjoyed the walks in the countryside and the relaxation in the hydro hot tub. Having secured the superior room our views over lough arrow were breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant although we did find it expensive. £34 for fillet of beef is excessive in my opinion.

  Although Cromleach is quite a large hotel, the owners and staff manage to make it an intimate experience through their attentiveness. The quality of the staff and their customer service was superb.

  Excellent hotel with large luxurious rooms and fantastic food

  Would have liked a swimming pool and there is a charge to use the hot tub if you dont have a spa treatment
